MSSP Alert has placed Quorum Cyber at 50th place in its annual managed security services provider (MSSP) league table.

MSSP Alert is a leading online resource focused on MSSPs and the broader cyber security ecosystem. In a rapidly evolving market, the MSSP Top 250 aims to set a benchmark for service excellence and innovation and keep organisations and decision makers informed about the breadth and quality of services available in the market.

Quorum Cyber has risen nine places from 2023 and almost 100 places since 2022, reflecting the company’s rapid growth in revenues, headcount, and customer numbers, and its excellent reputation among market analysts for cyber security expertise and world-class services.

The accolade comes just a few months after Quorum Cyber was named a finalist in two Microsoft Security Excellence Awards categories in March (Security MSSP of the Year and Security Customer Champion) and follows its acquisition of Canada-based cyber security company, Difenda, in September this year.

Difenda, which has offices in Arizona in the US as well as Canada, was also recognised by MSSP Alert, jumping to 56th place from 85th last year.

MSSP Alert compares cyber security service providers on several criteria including:

• Annual recurring revenues
• Profitability
• Business growth rate
• Cyber security professional headcount
• Managed security services offered
• MSSP Alert’s editorial coverage of MSSPs worldwide
• Third-party industry honours from analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC.

The rankings for 2024 were judged before the announcement of the acquisition of Difenda. Now that the two have joined forces, it can be assumed that Quorum Cyber would be placed much higher in the international league table.
