Overview

In April 2024, a new ransomware named Fog was identified, targeting both Windows and Linux systems. This advanced ransomware uses multiple extortion techniques, including a TOR-based Data Leak Site (DLS) to publicly list victim organisations and host stolen data for those who do not pay the ransom. If successful, the ransomware will exfiltrate substantial amounts of data before issuing a ransom demand.
