The British Legal Technology Awards recognise and celebrate the excellence of teams and individuals who provide technology and IT security services for the UK’s legal sector. Organised by Netlaw Media and hosted by British stand-up comedian Jo Caulfield, the gala dinner and awards ceremony in central London was attended by dozens of law firms and suppliers from across the UK.

Accompanied by our customer, leading international law firm Bird & Bird, Quorum Cyber were delighted to have been named winner of the IT Security Provider of the Year award against a high-class field of competitors.

“Bird & Bird have worked in partnership with Quorum Cyber for two years to ensure that the provision of legal services is sustained by the secure technology we use,” said Martyn Styles, Head of Information Security at Bird & Bird. “Key to that partnership has been the co-management of our Sentinel SIEM and the rapid responses provided by the Quorum Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) teams to any security incidents surfaced by the platform. We work closely with engineers and account management to ensure that the monitoring environment is continuously tuned and updated.”

An independent panel of experts judged entrants on the services they have provided during the past year. Quorum Cyber were recognised as worthy winners due to our Managed Detection and Response service which protects organisations in many different industries, including legal, around the clock every day of the year.

“I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve won this prestigious award, and my thanks go to Bird & Bird for supporting our nomination. This is a huge testament to the excellent work our team does every single day to protect our customer and enable them to thrive,” said Quorum Cyber CEO Federico Charosky. “I want to offer my congratulations to all the other award winners and finalists on the night.”

The winners of each category at this year’s awards ceremony are listed on the British Legal Technology Awards’ website.
