After winning and being nominated for a host of awards and accolades in the UK and the US in 2024, Quorum Cyber has begun the year on a high, winning the Cybersecurity Company of the Year award at the 2025 Scottish Cyber Awards held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre in Edinburgh on 27th March.

“We’re delighted to have won against a very strong field of competitors,” says John Wallace, Chief of Staff / Chief People Officer at Quorum Cyber. “This award is in recognition of the people, innovation, drive, and success of every single team member in our truly global cyber security business. Thanks to everyone who has played a part in our success.”

Scotland is a hotbed of cyber security talent, with many innovative companies, so it was no surprise that the Cybersecurity Company of the Year award was fiercely contested by six companies in the final.

At the same awards, organised and hosted by DIGIT, Quorum Cyber CEO Federico Charosky made the final of the Cybersecurity Leader of the Year.

And just one week earlier, on 20th March, CFO Greg Aitken reached two category finals at the Scottish Chief Financial Officer Awards:

  • Scottish CFO of the Year 2024 of a Private Equity Backed Company
  • Scottish CFO of the Year 2024 – Growth/Scale Up.

Microsoft awards season

Quorum Cyber has the chance to win more accolades in the near future. This year, for the first time, we’re in the final of not one, not two, but three Microsoft Security Excellence Awards:

  • Security MSSP of the Year
  • Data Security & Compliance Trailblazer
  • Security Changemaker.

We’re humbled to have been named among a global field of industry leaders that have demonstrated success across the security landscape during the past 12 months.

Although we’re delighted to receive industry recognition for our achievements and contributions to the cyber security industry in Scotland, the UK, and worldwide, our focus remains on our number one goal: proactively protecting our diverse range of public sector, private sector, and not-for-profit sector customers against the today’s threats and those we see looming over the horizon.

Keeping up the momentum

Last year was a game-changing year for Quorum Cyber as it received fresh investment from private equity company Charlesbank, and acquired both Difenda, a Canadian cyber security company, and Kivu Consulting, a threat intelligence specialist headquartered in the US.
