I’ve just returned from GISEC, the largest cyber security conference in the Middle East and Africa, where my colleague Khaled Chalia and we spent three days meeting as many people as possible to discuss their cyber security challenges and goals.
GISEC has been held in Dubai for 14 years and Khaled has attended them all, however, for me it was my first time. We were excited to attend as exhibitors on the Microsoft stand, with own Quorum Cyber pod. There were 25,000 people from 160 countries at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 6th to 8th May, so we were incredibly busy.
As a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (you can learn more about this in my blog), I was also fortunate to have a speaking slot on the Xlabs stage at the start of day three, where in 15 minutes I covered the topic, Rising Above the Crowd: What Sets Elite Microsoft Partners Like Quorum Cyber Apart?
A recurring theme among the many discussions we had during the three days of GISEC was customers wishing to squeeze more out of their investment in Microsoft cyber security products and licences – Quorum Cyber’s core competencies.
